WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today said that the U.S. Department of Education has released $714,000 in congressionally directed funds to Loess Hills Area Education Agency 13 in Council Bluffs. Congress appropriated the funds through the 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act.
"These funds will help kids in Pottawattamie County go to preschool and get a quality start to their education," Grassley said.
Loess Hills Area Education Agency 13 will use the money to help provide quality preschool experiences for three and four year old low-income and at-risk children in Pottawattamie County.
