The Senate just passed the Fraud Enforcement and Recovery Act.  The legislation is needed to police the massive amount of tax dollars that have been injected into banks, financial institutions, corporations, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and elsewhere to try to turn the economy around.  I voted against most of that spending, but it became law, and now I want to do everything possible to protect the taxpayer interest.  I hope the House passes the bill as quickly as possible.
