I was asked about the swine flu during an interview today on KASI in Ames. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's information about swine flu is available here.  According to the CDC it spreads the same as a seasonal flu virus, so it's important to continue to wash your hands regularly, and cover your mouth with a tissue when you cough and sneeze. The CDC also says the swine flu doesn't come from eating pork, so you can still enjoy Iowa chops on the grill.
