I met with the Siouxland Chamber yesterday afternoon while they were in Washington to discuss their projects and priorities for the upcoming year. It's always helpful when the community works together to prioritize the projects before they visit. That allows me to focus my efforts on helping make those requests a reality. I also enjoyed visiting with them and eating a nice, juicy steak at the Siouxland Steak Fry last night as well. Senator Harkin was there as well and holding to his tradition, told a joke.
